I wish all days were filled with pretty things like last Wednesday. Although they rarely are. Today is a bit typical. Watching my brother, dropped off a package to be shipped, and spent the first 5 hours of this morning filling out paperwork for my clinical rotation (eegads!)... I wish I could be a prompt sort of blogger who posts daily with fresh photo's of what they did/wore/cooked/diy-ed the day before but unfortunately I have a bit of a lazy attitude when it comes to blogging. Which I guess explains the delay in me sharing these pretty things with you ;) Enjoy!
This is my ever changing bookshelf display area. I claimed this little piece of prime shelf space the first day I moved in with Jordan. He likes to put tiny things on it just to mess with my feng shui but I swear even his stuffed purple dinosaur can't make this set up look bad! I recently added one more piece to my little nook, I'll try to share a photo soon.
The first, and pretty much only, thing we did Wednesday is drop my new mint dress off at the tailors to be hemmed and fitted. I was so nervous to drop my little gem off at a strange tailors but I was instantly reassured by her love of old things (yay instant friends!) and her sweet offer to teach me a stitch for a hem, I mean seriously, how cool is that!
Pretty much as soon as we got to my Mom's house all illusions of dressing pretty went out the window. Sometimes sweat pants are good for your soul.
I had dinner with my family. Kissed my momma & sister goodbye and headed home for a night of netflix, knitting, & good cuddles.
pssst. don't tell the peeps over at instagram but I chose to finish my scarf off with mint! I've gotten three comments that it looks like neopolitan ice cream, but seriously, am I the only one that think's that's a compliment?
Have a fantastic Monday!
