Funny Face

Thursday it was freezing... and then it wasn't. I personally hate it when the weather pulls a 180 and changes because here I am stuck in the middle of the day with a sweater & a scarf on when the weather shoots from 45 to 70 (with sun).

Jordan snapped a couple quick pics, unfortunately I wasn't in a serious type of mood. Which explains the randomness below...

 Ok I lied, I'm a little happy it got warmer today... I really enjoyed soaking up some vitamin D =)

Beginning's

Yesterday me & Jordan went to lunch at our campus's dining hall & I spotted a wall I've walked by a million times before. Every time I would walk by it I would think "that is the perfect place to take outfit photo's" but I never would! Well today was that day =) I decided to ignore weird stares & had Jordan snap a couple of photos. My outfit wasn't anything special but it felt good to step out of my comfort zone & take pictures outdoors!

Wish List - Back to School.

A lot of things are fun about growing up; independence, listening to loud music, not having to clean your room (if you're into that), staying out as late (or early) as you want. But do you know what isn't fun about growing up? You have to buy stuff.

I miss back to school shopping...

So this is a list of stuff I would buy for my back to school wardrobe... If I wasn't the one who had to buy it.

 A cute cream Irish knit vest for layering.

 A soft cream scarf for cool fall nights.

The perfect mustard cardigan for layering over everything!

I didn't realize until after I put these photos but looks like I am really digging this mustard yellow, floral, & knit creams combination for this fall. Kind of bright but its fun to go outside of the dark colors box!

September 11th, A day I will always remember

I just finished watching the memorial service & my heart is heavy. I cannot believe ten years have passed since that day.
I really thought this quote, spoken by Abraham Lincoln during the Gettysburg address, still rings true today, 

"But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead who struggled here have consecrated it far above our poor power to add or detract." 


I am sending all my love to the families & friends who must now continue to endure the loss of their loved ones. And may the souls of all those brave men & women lost on this day ten years ago rest in peace.

Just a blip on the radar

Each year adjusting to the new school routine is getting harder & harder. I just started my first semester in the Nursing program & it has been challenging trying to figure out a way to balance my time. Although I still have passion for vintage clothing & blogging its been harder and harder to find time to devote to it. I hope that soon I will be able to fall back into a posting schedule & won't neglect my little slice of the internet anymore =)

I hope to post a little bit tomorrow about some adorable things I've discovered on the web but for now I'll leave you with this cute video. Have an awesome Friday night!
