Brown paper packages tied up with string

One of my favorite things about shopping on etsy is how personal the experience is, talking with the seller, picking out hand made jewelry or vintage items picked out as if just for you. But my absolute favorite part is getting that package on my doorstep, because I love seeing what sort of amazing way they have that little package wrapped.

I received this package the week before classes when the dorms were silent and no one was around to show off my amazing new bullet necklace too! But many people have stopped to compliment the pretty cow that sits perched on my desk, thats when I show them my favorite neck candy!

This came the first day after Christmas break. The little 60s daisy pin was perfectly complimented by the pink paper it was wrapped in and the adorable note that topped it all off!

I received this package last year one snowy day and I still have the pink ribbon that was wrapped around the vintage looking tracing paper.

I love that they don't feel like something you just "bought online."

Things that made me smile today - Christmas Presents & Puppy

T I consider things I buy myself during the holiday season "presents," and sometimes I order them online just so I can unwrap them (weird I know)

This is the my new favorite nail polish. Its Essie- Mint Candy Apple (a little mintier than the picture shows) newly dubbed "Retro Car" by my girlfriends.

 The clutch pictured is a present from the beau, You would think he has extraordinarily good taste but alas it is not so. The little sneak hacked my etsy account to pick out this beaut.

The Nina Ricci Perfume roll on and YSL Touche Eclat were presents from me to meself. (Going to do a Touche Eclat review later)

& my puppy has taken a liking to my new Simply Shabby Chic blanket, it is THE softest blanket I've ever felt. 

Well I'm gonna go cuddle with the puppy, hope some of the things that made me smile today made you smile too!
