I had so much fun with Jordan today, we went to a girlfriends house and sat around a bonfire for a couple hours (on adorable wooden chairs with zebra seat cushions, how chic is that?) and now my hair smells like smoke... Im feeling a little to lazy to do a whole post so heres a little picture that makes me smile...

Im feeling calm, listening to the storm brewing outside, Sia crooning out Breathe Me, and smelling the sweet smokey smell of burning incense. Sometimes its nice to take a moment... close your eyes, listen to the thunder in the distance and breathe it in.

The Row

Like most, the resort collections this season left me feeling bleh, even Mary Kate and Ashley's, The Row, which usually blows me away. But there are a couple hidden gems, like the floor length white gown, black sheer skirt or the all white outfit at the bottom.

Walking on the beach is so calming, but something horrible hit me yesterday as I was watching the sunset... My children might not know the same ocean Ive come to love. The Gulf coast disaster is impacting the coast economy in a horrible way and its compromising the pure beauty of the ocean and its coastlines. Day by day we sat and watched the coast, hoping not to see a iridescent stain floating on top of the waves and so far this stretch of water remains untouched, but I know it wont last forever. All I can do is hope this oil doesn't leave a permanent stain on the waters that I love.

On the road again...

Well, I'm sitting in the Tampa airport and my flight has been delayed.. le sigh... 

Me and Hannah are passing the time by taking pictures, eating rock candy and blogging but three hours is a long time to kill!
