To hem or not to hem?

As Ive said before I love vintage dresses. Particularly 50s style knee length dresses. My only problem is standing at 5 feet tall every dress I look at is longer than desired so brings my question for today, How do you feel about hemming vintage dresses? Do you believe it adds to the dress or ruins its integrity?

An enchanted feeling...

I bought this vintage 60s shirt off of the amazing etsy store Capricous Traveler a couple of months ago and decided it was more of a spring shirt so it sat in my closet until this morning. It feels like spring is almost here in Minnesota and I hope no more snow comes and delays it any longer...

I love that this shirt appears to be handmade. Theres no tag and the sewing is wonderful! I wish clothes were still made like this...

This weekend Jordan brought me a rose when he came to see me.It gives me an enchanted feeling...

Good Vintage?

Living in a college town I'm not surrounded by thrift/vintage shops to rake through so I must turn to the Internet. Although I'm a huge fan of etsy, ebay and market publique I keep finding myself desiring other vintage forums, but when I search for them all I come up with are overpriced beauties or cheap duds. So whats your favorite online place for vintage clothing?

Pin Curls.
