Yes, it has happened to me many a time, usually followed by a desperate and frantic search to find it's equal.

It was a pair of Louboutin Mad Mary, black leather with three straps. They were my size, and beautiful. It wasn't that the bidding went too high (i'd have sold my brother for those shoes), but someone else swooped in at the last moment.
ReplyDeleteDo you know how to sew? Or know someone who can? Perhaps you could have one made, based on the picture. Then you can tailor it to suit you absolutely perfectly.
Aw, I feel ya! That's happened to me so many times. If it's any consolation, I usually look back and think, "I'm so glad I didn't get that." But that dress really is pretty!
